What we attend to

Each service is documented. Each finding is shared. The watch leaves the bench in a condition we are prepared to stand behind.

Diagnostic Assessment
SVC-01

Diagnostic Assessment

A first appointment for owners who would like to understand the condition of a watch before committing to further work. We examine the timepiece externally and on a timing machine, noting rate, amplitude, beat error, and visible condition issues. Findings are delivered in a written summary with a suggested order of priority.

Service of Modern Automatic Watches
SVC-02

Service of Modern Automatic Watches

A comprehensive bench service for modern automatic watches made within the past three decades. The movement is disassembled, cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, lubricated with appropriate greases and oils, and regulated. Worn parts are sourced from the maker's catalogue where accessible. All work is logged for future reference.

  • Full movement disassembly & clean
  • Rotor inspection & regulation
  • Service record kept on file

Water Resistance Restoration
SVC-03

Water Resistance Restoration

For diver's watches and water-resistant sports models whose seals have aged through years of regular use. We replace all serviceable gaskets and crystals, lubricate threaded crowns, and conduct both dry and wet pressure testing in line with the case's stated rating. The achieved rating is noted on the service record.

What sets this bench apart

Written Reports, Every Time

Every assessment and service ends with a written summary of findings. You leave with a clear picture of what was done and why — not a verbal account you may later struggle to recall.

Maker Procedures Followed

Where a manufacturer's published service procedures are accessible, we follow them. Deviations are discussed with the owner before work proceeds — a standard most general repair shops do not apply.

Longitudinal Service Records

Work is logged so that future visits can reference previous findings. Over time this builds a picture of a particular movement's behaviour — useful for decisions about parts replacement or further care.

Timing Machine Testing

We use a timing machine to measure rate, amplitude, and beat error before and after service. These figures appear in the report so you can compare them against published specifications for your reference.

Pressure-Tested Water Resistance

For dive and sport watches, we run both dry and wet pressure tests and document the achieved rating. This matters for owners who use their watches in the sea or pool rather than keeping them under glass.

Decisions Made Together

Before any significant spend is committed, we share our assessment and discuss the options. Work only proceeds with your understanding and agreement. There are no surprises on the final invoice.

03. / NEXT STEP

Is your watch overdue for attention?

Begin with a diagnostic assessment and leave with a clear picture of where your timepiece stands. There is no obligation to proceed further unless the findings warrant it.

04. / FAQ

Common questions

How long does a typical service take?

A diagnostic assessment can usually be completed within three to five working days, as the examination is non-invasive and produces a report without disassembly. A full movement service for a modern automatic typically requires two to three weeks, depending on our current bench schedule and whether any parts need to be sourced. We will give you a realistic estimate when you bring the watch in.

Do you work on vintage or older mechanical watches?

Our standard movement service is designed for modern automatic watches manufactured within the past three decades. For older or vintage pieces, we recommend beginning with a diagnostic assessment, which will give us a clear picture of the movement's condition and allow us to advise honestly on whether we are the right workshop for the job or whether a specialist in earlier calibres would serve you better.

What is included in the written service report?

The report covers observable external condition, timing machine readings (rate, amplitude, and beat error), any parts replaced during the service, and our suggestions for priority attention if further work is warranted. For water resistance jobs, the achieved pressure rating is also included. We keep a copy on file so future visits can reference it.

Can I have a diagnostic assessment without committing to a full service?

Yes — that is precisely what the diagnostic assessment is for. It is a standalone service at ฿2,800 and produces a written report with our findings and recommendations. You are under no obligation to proceed with further work. Many owners use the assessment to inform their own decisions about whether and when to invest in a full service.

How do I know if my dive watch still holds its stated water resistance?

Gaskets and seals degrade over time regardless of how carefully a watch is stored. A watch that was water-resistant to 200 metres when new may no longer hold that rating after several years without seal replacement. Our water resistance restoration service replaces all serviceable gaskets, lubricates the crown, and conducts pressure testing. The achieved rating is documented so you have a current, recorded figure rather than the manufacturer's original claim.

How should I prepare my watch before bringing it in?

No special preparation is needed. Bring the watch as it is — ideally in whatever box or pouch you have for it, though this is not required. If you have any previous service records or purchase documentation, bringing those along can be helpful context, but the absence of paperwork will not prevent us from beginning an assessment.
