1. Definitions

Throughout these Terms and Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings set out below.

• "Agreement" — these Terms and Conditions, together with any service quotation or written confirmation issued by Krung Watch.
• "Service" — any watch inspection, repair, regulation, or restoration work provided by Krung Watch, including Diagnostic Assessment, Service of Modern Automatic Watches, and Water Resistance Restoration.
• "We / Us / Our" — Krung Watch, operating at 312 Phayathai Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400, Thailand.
• "You / Client" — any individual or entity that submits an enquiry, deposits a timepiece, or engages our services.
• "Website" — the website operated by Krung Watch at krungwax.world.
• "Timepiece" — any watch or horological item accepted by us for inspection or service.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry through the Website, telephoning us, visiting the workshop, or depositing a timepiece for service, you confirm that you have read these Terms and Conditions and agree to be bound by them.

Our services are available to individuals aged 18 years or older who have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement. By engaging with us, you represent that you meet this requirement.

If you are depositing a timepiece on behalf of another person or an organisation, you confirm that you have the authority to do so and to accept these terms on their behalf.

3. Service Description

Krung Watch provides specialist watch repair and maintenance services from our workshop at 312 Phayathai Road, Ratchathewi, Bangkok 10400. Our current service menu comprises:

• Diagnostic Assessment (฿2,800) — An examination of the timepiece on the bench and on a timing machine, with a written summary of findings and suggested priorities for future work.
• Service of Modern Automatic Watches (฿4,200) — Full movement disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, lubrication with appropriate oils and greases, regulation, and reassembly for automatic watches produced within the past three decades.
• Water Resistance Restoration (฿7,500) — Replacement of all serviceable gaskets, crown lubrication, and pressure testing in line with the case's original rating, applicable to diver's and water-resistant sports models.

Services are provided from our Bangkok workshop. We do not currently operate a postal or courier intake service; all timepieces must be deposited in person unless a specific arrangement has been confirmed in writing by Krung Watch.

We reserve the right to decline any service request where, in our professional judgement, the work is outside our current capacity or the condition of the timepiece presents unacceptable risk of further damage.

4. Client Responsibilities

When depositing a timepiece or engaging with the Website, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about the timepiece and its history.
• Confirm that you are the lawful owner of the timepiece, or that you have the owner's authority to authorise the work.
• Collect the timepiece within 30 days of receiving notice that the work has been completed. Storage beyond this period may incur a daily fee, which will be communicated to you at the time of collection notice.
• Use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
• Refrain from submitting false or misleading information through our contact form or by any other means.

You must not misuse our Website by attempting to introduce malicious code, conducting unauthorised access, or interfering with any part of our systems.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, photographs, illustrations, service descriptions, and the overall design — is the intellectual property of Krung Watch or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the Website for personal, non-commercial purposes. This does not entitle you to copy, reproduce, republish, transmit, or distribute any part of the Website without our prior written consent.

Service records, written reports, and technical notes produced by Krung Watch in the course of a service remain the property of Krung Watch; however, a copy of the findings relevant to your timepiece will be shared with you as part of the service.

6. Payment Terms

All prices are quoted and payable in Thai Baht (฿). Prices displayed on the Website are current service fees and may be revised from time to time; the fee applicable to your service will be confirmed in writing before work commences.

Where additional work is identified during a service — such as the need to replace a worn part — we will contact you with a revised estimate before proceeding. Work beyond the originally quoted scope will not be undertaken without your written or recorded verbal consent.

Payment is due in full upon collection of the timepiece. We currently accept cash (Thai Baht) and major card payments. Specific payment method availability may be confirmed at the workshop.

Timepieces will not be released until payment has been received in full. In the event of non-collection after 90 days from the completion notice, and following reasonable attempts to contact you, we reserve the right to apply a storage lien in accordance with applicable Thai law.

7. Service-Specific Terms

7.1 Diagnostic Assessment

The Diagnostic Assessment is a condition report and does not include any remedial work. Findings and recommendations are provided in good faith based on the examination conducted; they do not constitute a prediction of future performance or longevity.

7.2 Service of Modern Automatic Watches

We follow manufacturer-published procedures where accessible. Where these are not available or where a watch requires a deviation from standard procedure, we will discuss this with you before proceeding. Worn consumable parts replaced during a service will be noted on the service record. Original parts removed are available to the client on request at the time of collection.

7.3 Water Resistance Restoration

Water resistance testing is conducted in line with the case's published rating. The achieved rating noted on the service record reflects conditions at the time of testing. Continued use in water, temperature changes, and normal wear will affect seals over time; periodic re-testing is advisable. We cannot be held responsible for ingress resulting from subsequent wear or damage after collection.

7.4 Turnaround Times

Estimated completion times are provided in good faith but are not binding. Complex or unusual movements may require additional time. We will communicate any significant delays to you as soon as they are identified.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided on the basis of our best professional skill and judgement. Watchmaking involves working with aged mechanical components whose condition cannot always be fully assessed before work commences. In some circumstances, disassembly may reveal additional wear or damage not visible on external examination.

We do not offer any representation that a particular level of rate accuracy, power reserve, or water resistance will be achieved following service, as outcomes depend on the condition and age of the movement and case components.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of Thailand, our total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid by you for that service.

We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental loss including loss of enjoyment, emotional distress, or loss of use of a timepiece arising from delays or service outcomes, except where such loss results from our gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Where a timepiece in our care is damaged due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including pre-existing undisclosed damage or inherent fragility of aged components — our liability will be assessed in good faith and proportionate to the circumstances.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Krung Watch, its staff, and its representatives from any claims, losses, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of ownership or authority, or any unlawful use of the Website.

11. Termination

You may cancel a service instruction at any time before work has commenced, and we will return the timepiece to you without charge.

If work has commenced, you may request that it be halted. In this case, a charge proportionate to the work completed will apply, and the timepiece will be returned in its current state of disassembly or reassembly, as applicable.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a service where we form the reasonable view that proceeding would risk damage to the timepiece, or where the client has acted in breach of these Terms.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from a service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok.

We encourage you to contact us in the first instance if you have a concern about any aspect of your service. Many matters can be resolved through straightforward discussion, and we are committed to treating all concerns with care and attention.

If informal resolution is not possible, either party may pursue available remedies under Thai law, including through the Office of the Consumer Protection Board (OCPB) where applicable to consumer disputes.

13. General Provisions

Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with any written service quotation, constitute the entire agreement between us regarding the subject matter herein and supersede all prior discussions or understandings.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms on a particular occasion shall not be treated as a waiver of that provision on any subsequent occasion.

Assignment. We may assign these Terms to a successor entity without notice. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our written consent.

Notices. Any formal notice to us should be sent by email to [email protected] or by post to the workshop address above.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or applicable law. When we do, we will update the Last Updated date at the top of this page.

Continued use of the Website or our services after an update has been published constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend checking this page periodically if you engage with us on an ongoing basis.
